Last day at Amal Academy

It was 13th June and once again I woke up early on a bright sunny Sunday morning very excited for my last Amal session because I knew that it was not going to be the regular one like where we discuss the courses completed last week and the key takeaways, but I knew that a lot more fun and engaging activities are waiting for me in the session.

We planned some surprises for our PM and PA and they also planned some surprises for us. Also, We decided on a theme that we all are wearing black for our last session.

Virtual Graduation

So finally we got into our first activity which was a scavenger hunt. It was really fun to quickly guess the object from the statement, take a selfie with that, and upload it in due time. Finally, our team won the game as we were able to guess most objects correctly.

We got a break then of ten minutes and when the time is up our PM announced that ‘guys come back and turn on your videos’ we didn’t respond and showed like nobody is there and try to be silent for a minute, they both our PM and PA were confused and they had no idea what’s going on and in the meantime, one of the fellows wrote the code word in a chat box and we all turn on our videos at the same time showing the thank you note on the screen as we planned before, their reactions and responses were priceless and they were overwhelmed by this surprise and right after that we showed them a gratitude video we made for them, once again ma’am Ayesha and ma’am Uswah were so surprised and humbled by our this act.

Then we watched a memory video, I made for fellows which was a surprise for everyone. I was not expecting that this session was going to be more special for me because when ma’am Uswah announced the PW award in her unique style, it was me who scored the highest marks in the last project work and I was a bit surprised but very happy because I was waiting for that award for a long time.

So as we were approaching the end of a session we decided to sing some songs together that went really great it was a kind of fun with a little bit of chaos and the mess of voices but it was the funniest and amazing activity of the day everyone enjoyed and participated without thinking how they were going to sound out.

At last, I want to say that these last three months were the most memorable days of my life and I can never forget these days. I learned a lot of things and now I can say proudly that I am a better version of myself and I have groomed a lot in these past three months. All credit goes to our great program manager ma’am Ayesha and our program associate ma’am or Uswah who helped and guided us a lot. I will surely miss those interactive sessions on the weekends and the project works we do late at night.
Signing off!
