If you have gone through some of my previous blogs you might know that I have been involved in one of the amazing 3 months-long journeys of my life known as the Amal career fellowship.

This great unforgettable and the most impactful journey finally came to its end, it’s very hard to believe that we are ending this fellowship which has given me some of the great memories, loads of knowledge, and helped me to become a better version of myself.

Throw Back To The First Two Weeks

When we received our first project work I was a bit surprised and curious that how am I going to manage and complete all of this work with my regular other activities. I was nervous that I might not be able to complete all tasks within the due date, but luckily with some hard work, I managed to complete it just before due time. The first two weeks of the Amal fellowship were comprised of several interesting and impactful activities let me first tell you some of the major tasks and activities we did in our first two weeks.
-Teamwork in learning group 5
-Finding your why
-Random act of kindness
-Lums case study
-Fixing stuff around yourself
-Smart goals

Some specific things that actually remind me of my initial days at Amal were my learning group and the random act of kindness we performed.

I created some great memories in my learning group. I was able to Grab some great friends, great team members and learned about leadership in those two weeks especially regarding leadership without authority and it was a totally new concept for me. Then learned about some of the major aspects of life like kindness, humility, and empathy which we mostly neglect in our life and experienced that in real life. I did 5 random acts of kindness in 24 hours and also wrote a blog about that. I learned a lot from these acts and most important I came to know that I am a bit attracted towards the social work for animals, stray cats, or dogs.

I learned and experienced a lot of things in these several months of my life from teamwork to leadership skills, and able to build up great confidence in communication and my writing skills, and a lot more which I cannot explain in words here.
I want to thank our PM and PA ma’am Ayesha and ma’am Uswah for giving us such a great learning experience and for being honest with us and for helping us to make our lives more impactful.

I will definitely miss my learning group tasks, circle meetings, online courses, weekly interactive sessions, the project works, and the fun we do online sessions. I hope that we implement all the learnings from Amal in our daily life to create a positive impact on our society and keep learning.

Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose
